Market solver files

For each dispatch cycle (5 minutes), a generated input file is submitted to the linear program solver (NEMDE NEM Dispatch Engine (previously SPD). Software developed and used by AEMO to ensure the central dispatch process maximises value of trade, subject to the various constraints.), producing two output files. The files for each dispatch cycle are:

• Input file
• Output file
• Price Setter file

Each day AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator publishes the market solver files in the participant ID’s file server \MarketData subfolders.
